The Canada Media Fund has launched its new Distributor Program, a pilot initiative that allows financial contributions from eligible Canadian distributors to unlock CMF funding, without the requirement of a Canadian broadcaster.

The CMPA is pleased to host an information session for members with the CMF’s Karen Tohana (Director, English Content) to speak about the program and answer any questions you may have about the program guidelines, including the application process, nature of CMF funding, and the evaluation grid.

The program’s initial budget is $10M, and funding will be allocated through a selective process. The CMF will be accepting funding requests from November 7 to November 28, 2024.
