Every year, the CMPA produces Profile in collaboration with its French-language counterpart, the Association québécoise de la production médiatique (AQPM), the Department of Canadian Heritage, and Telefilm Canada.

This annual economic report on Canada’s screen-based production industry offers a wealth of statistics on the most recent production year, as well as longer-term trends in Canada’s three main screen-content segments: Canadian film and television production, foreign location and service production, and broadcaster in-house production.

The report also includes top-line numbers on broadcasting distribution undertakings, digital media production, the distribution sector and the theatrical exhibition sector.
