DM@X Conference
February 6-7, 2026
The twelfth annual DM@X conference takes place on February 6-7, 2026.
The conference brings together policymakers, funders, guild leaders, industry executives, creators, and scholars to explore the forces transforming Canada’s screen, audio, and interactive sectors. Sessions consist of evidence-based briefings and moderated discussions that link legislation and regulation (including the Online Streaming Act), technological trends (AI and data), funding strategies, and market realities to everyday creative practices.

It will be held in person at Walter Hall, in the Edward Johnson Building, at the Faculty of Music, University of Toronto, 80 Queen’s Park, Toronto.
An application has been made to the Law Society of Ontario to continue its practice of qualifying the conference for substantive CPD Hours and EDI Professionalism hours.
