When East Meets West (WEMW) – Co-production Forum

WEMW 2027 will take place on January 17-19, 2027 in Trieste (Italy) and will select 20 projects in development (narrative features, creative documentaries and short animated projects), with special attention to the 2027 East & West spotlight countries: Poland & Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands.

For this upcoming edition WEMW is proud to announce the brand new Eurimages Co-production Development Award, a cash prize of the value of 20.000€ designed to provide financial support to international co-productions – strengthening the creative exchanges that lie at the heart of the European film industry. Alongside this new exciting partnership, the Co-Production Forum will continue to grant a series of core awards, thanks to the continuous commitment of our long-standing partners, including the CICLIC WEMW Award, a 5.000€ cash prize granted by the French Centre-Val de Loire Region.
