TORONTO, February 27, 2025 —The CMPA today issued the following statement in response to the passing of Paul Bronfman, Chairman and CEO of the Comweb Corporation:
“Today we mourn the passing of Paul Bronfman, a former CMPA board member and a passionate advocate for Canada’s domestic production sector. Those who served on the CMPA board with Paul will fondly recall his ardent belief in the potential for Canada’s sector to be a world-class global production hub. His leadership, generosity, and dedication helped shape the thriving industry we have today and his impact will be felt for generations. Our deepest condolences to Paul’s family, friends, and colleagues. He will be greatly missed.”
