TORONTO, September 28, 2023 — Following its annual general meeting earlier today, the Canadian Media Producers Association (CMPA) unveiled its Board of Directors for the 2023-2025 term, and also announced the appointment of Damon D’Oliveira as CMPA Board Chair.

“The impressive range of experience and perspectives of our incoming Board of Directors will position the CMPA to strongly represent the interests of our membership, at this key time when the focus of the industry is on the CRTC’s implementation of Bill C-11,” said CMPA Board Chair, Damon D’Oliveira. “I am honoured to take on the role of Board Chair, and look forward to working with my talented colleagues on the Board to advocate on behalf of Canada’s independent production community and the success of the broader industry.”
