Window Dreams Productions is an Ontario-based production company that focuses on impact-driven storytelling. Our leadership, consisting of Founder and Co-CEOs Shreya Patel and Rabiya Mansoor brings together a wealth of experience in film, television, comedy, and advocacy. Our team is wholly committed to creating diverse, authentic, and meaningful content that uplifts underrepresented voices and promotes social change.
Window Dreams Productions has been named one of the Top 100 media companies in Canada founded by women by Banff Media Festival's Spark program and nominated for the prestigious RBC's Ones to Watch Award. Our team has participated in various initiatives and programs, including the CFC’s Fifth Wave Lab, Netflix's Diversity of Voices, Transmedia Zone Incubator, ReelWorld E20 Incubator, WIFT-T Digital Series Incubator, JFL ComedyPRO Stand Up & Pitch and has secured over $200k of funding from the Bell Fund Slate Development Program, Canada Media Fund, OntarioCreates IDM Concept Definition Fund, Canada Council for the Arts, and Toronto Arts Council.
Our projects have been recognized both critically and commercially, including the documentary "Girl Up," which was presented by the Toronto International Film Festival at the Civic Action Summit. "Girl Up" tells the story of a young woman's journey from being a domestic human trafficking victim to fighting back to take her life back. Our first digital series, “Get Up Aisha" is coming to CBC Gem in 2023.
