About us
Silverlight Entertainment Inc. is a Vancouver based production company specializing in creative content for the film and media industry. We service local and international clients, publicity and promotion departments, and creative agencies. Our EPK services, BTS footage capture, celebrity/ key cast-crew interviews and featurettes can be seen on many of the special features of the industry’s leading shows.
As a production company, we create our own IP which includes short films, documentaries, and most recently unscripted formats. Silverlight’s short films (“Blue” and “Chika’s Bird”) have played and garnered Audience Choice and Best Film awards in festivals such as Canada’s TIFF, Yorkton, Vancouver, and the Cannes Short Film Corner. Our documentary “Q’oyllur Ritti, God of the Snow Mountain” played in Air Canada’s In-flight film festival winning the Destination Inspiration Award and screened in film festivals parallel to United Nation’s Conferences for Climate Change. In 2010 the company began introducing greater amounts of CGI and through this passion pitched and launched a state of the art 3D Animation & VFX 4-year career, and studio, in South America overseeing the entire implementation and creation of the curricula hand in hand with Studio Arts L.A. receiving the approval from the Ministry of Education in Perú.
Owners Carmen Forsberg and Adam Mars are active members of the Vancouver film industry.
