About us
GMP is a Nova Scotia based, boutique production company focusing on independent film, digital and television
projects. GMP has four Canadian Screen Award nominations, won a Canadian Comedy Award and TIFF’s Pitch This!,
received a Sundance Documentary Fund and created over 20 projects. GMP has produced award-winning
scripted content including shorts such as ‘Old St. Nick’ (TIFF’s Best of Shorts), ‘Ingrid and the Black Hole’
(2016 Cannes FF Not Short on Talent), ‘Boyclops’ (TIFF), ‘There’s a Flower in My Pedal’ (TIFF Honourable
Mention), and ‘How to Be Alone’ (eight million views on YouTube), along with two seasons of the award
winning digital series, ‘Everyone's Famous’ with CBC (HollyWeb Award). Documentaries include the feature
‘Cubers’, the mid-lengths, ‘The June Bug Symphony’ (Hot Docs), and ‘30 Takes’ and three episodes for CBC’s
Land and Sea.
