About us
Reign Films is a Canadian production company that was founded in 2013 by award winning Producer Magali Gillon-Krizaj (recipient of the IndieScreen Kevin Tierney Emerging Producer Award 2022). Based in Vancouver, B.C., the company produces original content in both French and English in the form of TV series, features and documentaries. Reign Films' producing credits include feature film Until Branches Bend (TIFF’22, Tallinn Black Nights ‘22, SXSW ‘23, Prix de Soleure ‘23, Best B.C. Film ‘22) and The Cannon (WIFF 2017; CFF 2018). In Television, the recently produced social & environmental impact documentary series Citoyen 2.0 (13ep x 24min for UnisTV, Tou.TV which sold internationally to TV5 Monde, nominated at SIFA 2022) and the nature/adventure 6h-documentary series called Terres d’exploration / Uncharted Canada for TV5 which also sold internationally (TV5 Monde, Ushuaïa TV, YouTube). The series won Best Cinematography in 2018 and Best Screenwriting in 2019 at the Leo Awards and was nominated twice at Les Prix Gémeaux for Best series in 2017 & 2018. Also produced the 1st season of the web-series called The Drive in 2016 which won “Best web series” and “Best actress” at the Leo Awards and “Best Director and Actress” at the Vancouver Web Festival in 2016.
