About us
Item 7 is a Montreal based film production company lead by Pierre Even. Item 7´s ultimate goal is to produce high quality films supported by strong director’s visions. Since its creation in 2009, Item 7 has produced twenty-two films including Jean-Marc Vallée's CAFÉ DE FLORE, which had its World Premiere at the Venice Film Festival, Academy Award nominated WAR WITCH (REBELLE) by Kim Nguyen and, co-production BROOKLYN by John Crowley, which received three Academy Award nominations including best picture. Item 7's credits also include The Hummingbird Project, Bon Cop Bad cop 2, MAria Chapdelaine and the upcoming Balestra by Nicole Dorsey and Days of Happiness (Les hours heureux) by Chloe Robichaud.
