About us
Hammer & Tong is a boutique studio creating transmedia content for the integrated media landscape. including film, television, virtual and augmented reality, and gaming. The studio’s mandate is to be an ally in building a more inclusive history and it is proud of its track record of successful intercultural production.
Hammer & Tong’s first streaming show, Shadow of the Rougarou, launched in May 2022 on APTN lumi, and for which it received three Leo nominations. The studio is completing prototyping of a companion AR game and beginning development on Two Rivers, an animated historical drama, with funding from the Indigenous Screen Office, Bell Fund, and the CMF-IPF.
