About us

INTERSTATE 80 ENTERTAINMENT INC. is a motion picture production company based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Incorporated in 1995, it has produced a distinctive collection of feature-length dramas written and directed by filmmaker Dave Schultz. They include the cult classic JET BOY, the vampire adventure RUFUS, and the family drama CONSIDERING LOVE & OTHER MAGIC. Schultz’s writing and directing credits include the Cold War, rock’n’roll drama 45 RPM and the Nicolas Cage sci-fi THE HUMANITY BUREAU. Projects in development and preproduction include MAROONED ON PLANET EARTH, THE GARDEN, and the trans teen feature THE SUMMER I PLAYED OPHELIA.
Documentary credits include the six-part television series REBELS - A JOURNEY UNDERGROUND, narrated by Kiefer Sutherland, TLC’s CHROME DREAMS, and the History Television special THE LONGEST ROAD, co-produced with the National Film Board of Canada.
