About us
Exterieur Jour is a production company based in Montreal and whose founders come from both sides of the Atlantic. Since 2018, Exterieur Jour has produced films whose diverse cinematographic approaches tell stories of rich and diverse cultures.
Exterieur Jour is known for titles such as "Oskar" (2022), "Adonis" (2024), "The Brother" (2020) winner of the 2021 IRIS Award for Best Short Documentary and was nominated for the Canadian Screen Awards Best Short Documentary 2021, and "A French Youth" (2024) and selected for the 2024 Hot Docs Festival. Whether it be documentary, animated, or fiction films, Exterieur Jour's films produce a unique and strong vision of stories from Quebec and across the globe, with a focus on a deep and authentic point of view.
