About us
Suzanne Lyons has produced and/or exec produced thirteen feature films to date. She has produced films in Wales, Canada and the US. She has worked with wonderful talent including Christopher Walken, Naomi Watts, Alfred Molina, James Caan, Brenda Blethyn, Susan Sarandon, Donald Sutherland, Ellen Burstyn, Laurie Holden, Jennifer Tilly, Winona Ryder and more. Her films have won a gamut of awards and festivals including a BAFTA, a premier at the Directors Fortnight at the Cannes Film Festival and acceptance into numerous Film Festivals.
Prior to her work as a film producer, Ms. Lyons was VP of Marketing for a Canadian Television station and Network where she also created, produced and directed news and series, Suzanne launched and ran a film school, Flash Forward Institute, with a focus on marketing oneself in the industry and has taught workshops in Los Angeles, Vancouver, Toronto, NY, Austin and Singapore. She’s been a guest speaker at over eighty industry events and a member of the Producers Guild of America. Her book on “Indie Film Producing: The Craft of Low Budget Filmmaking,” was published through Focal Press.
