About us

Best idea wins. Through intentional collaboration, I strive to champion voices that challenge perspectives and reflect the richness of our world. I’m from a family who fled apartheid, who were always trying to find our way in a place built for others. This shaped my entire outlook on life. As an entrepreneur and working mostly in hospitality, my business experience coupled with an event planning background, translated well into film production. In 2020 I met Director, Robert Cuffley, which led to a mentorship with Producer, Colin Sheldon, and an AP credit on the film, ROMI, distributed through Raven Banner and sold to tubi in 2024. I learned how to shoot a feature in 12 days, with 12 crew, 3 cast, and a small budget and that producing is really risk management. My company vision was profoundly influenced as a juror for CIFF 2024. The Emerging Canadian Artist competition showed me how important it is to support voices who are pushing boundaries by being unabashedly vulnerable and authentic. In that spirit, Bunny Chow is excited to embrace up and coming talent, particularly those from underrepresented communities. My mission is rooted in exploring the complexities of human connection, delving into unpalatable subjects and situations, and making them relatable. What will an ordinary person do in an extraordinary situation when faced with difficult choices? Fascinating.
