About us
Peaceful Ronin is a Vancouver based production company that specializes in the creation of documentary and lifestyle web series. With over twenty years of experience, we also offer consultation and support for new filmmakers who are inexperienced at navigating Canada’s media landscape.
Peaceful Ronin also owns and operates Stories For Caregivers, an initiative designed to generate awareness and understanding about caregiving through uplifting and inspiring web series that illustrate the crucial role caregivers play in the lives of Canadians. As of 2023 we have helped produce over 18 hours of caregiving related content which has amassed over 15 million views. Stories For Caregivers is currently the largest online community of caregivers in the world.
For producers interested in creating web series for this initiative, Stories For Caregivers is recognized by the Canadian Audio-Visual Certification Office as an acceptable online service for purposes of meeting the “shown in Canada” requirement of the Canadian Film or Video Production Tax Credit program. This recognition also meets the digital platform requirements of other financing programs.
