About us
BirdDog Media Ventures is a Canadian production house that brings together two veterans of the factual entertainment genre, Stephen Ellis & Clark Bunting. Ellis is best know for his 25 years as president of Ellis Entertainment Corporation, one of Canada's longest operated independent producer-distributors. He is also a past Chair of the CMPA (2000-2002) and currently Co-Chair of the Copyright Committee. A Member of CMPA since 1980 through Ellis Entertainment, or since 2013, through RocketFuel Media Inc. Clark Bunting was part of the original start-up executive team of Discovery Channel, US, and served more recently as President & GM before joining the independent sector in 2013. Discovery is available in over 400 million households worldwide in 170 countries. The objectives of BirdDog Media Ventures are to bring major untold stories to light for Canadian and global viewers across multiple platforms.
