Outsoul Productions is the “dba” for 2823676 Ontario Limited, a production company whose creative and corporate mandate is to tell compelling, unique stories that no-one else is telling in ways no-one else is telling stories.

Informed by founder Ian Steaman’s long history and pivotal role in the development of the modern hip-hop music industry, giving voice to the overlooked and misunderstood is at the core of Outsoul’s raison d’etre. Just as hip-hop changed culture and society through music, Outsoul seeks to do the same with storytelling for the screen by amplifying stories about what it means to be the ‘other,’ whether Black, BIPOC, female, queer, poor or marginalized or some intersection of these things and the way it impacts how one lives in or sees the world.
