The City of Toronto Film Office supports and advances the growth of the production, post-production, VFX, and animation industries in Toronto by promoting Toronto as a destination for production to international and domestic clients, supporting workforce development with an emphasis on DEI, advancing conditions for studio development, advancing sustainability in these sectors, and ensuring film-friendly features throughout the city. Additionally, the Film Office works to ensure the film industry is considered in the development of City strategies and plans to ensure Toronto remains one of the top film jurisdictions in North America.
