Husk Media is an independent producer of premium scripted drama founded in 2021 by showrunner/producer Morwyn Brebner and television executive Andrew Akman. Morwyn is the creator of the international hit CORONER (CBC/CW) and co-creator of ROOKIE BLUE (GLOBAL/ABC) and SAVING HOPE (CTV/ION). Andrew has more than 20 years of experience at Cineflix Media, Shaw Media, Canwest Media and Alliance Atlantis. Both began their careers in theatre— Morwyn as a playwright and Andrew as an actor. Husk is focused on character-driven stories across drama and comedy. We occasionally do premium documentary.
