HERD of 1 MEDIA (HO1M) is dedicated to the development and production of high concept Indigenous and Non-Indigenous Film and Television content. Its primary focus lies in developing stories with an indigenous angle and fostering new creative partnerships worldwide. HO1M further supports and believes that the portrayal of First Nations issues go hand in hand with real world measures to achieve reconciliation.

A CSA nominated working actor both nationally and internationally (Debris, The Flash, Hold the Dark, Tribal, Blackstone, Penny Dreadful, Condor),"JBA" brings a constantly growing body of work behind the camera writing and producing on several feature films, documentary’s and now his own television series with APTN where he is Executive Producer, Showrunner, Director, Writer & Star.

After a 10-year career in the Canadian music business, JBA’s transition to film and television was initiated on Stephen Spielberg’s 6-part miniseries Into the West (2005). In addition to Acting and Stunt work, he began working in a variety of production capacities to round out a complete working knowledge of ALL aspects of the industry.
JBA’s produced an impressive slate of award-winning feature films that have screened world-wide in high profile festivals and whose work continues to win nominations, accolades and win Industry relationships worldwide.
