Vancouver International Film Festival (VIFF)

The annual Vancouver International Film Festival showcases exceptional cinema in one of the world’s most beautiful cities. Our spectacular roster includes some of the best cinema from around the globe, one-of-a-kind live performances, talks, industry sessions, and other unique events celebrating film and film culture.

This year, the Artist & Industry Program focuses on deepening support for filmmakers’ careers through curated panels and workshops, while introducing new programs focused on creative business, documentary, and animation. The goal is to pave a path for increased international collaboration while embracing original, visionary, and genre-defying work. We aim to bring all together into a cohesive ecosystem, a place where our film industry can grow in dialogue with artistic innovation, equity, imagination, and stronger community-building.
