One Stop Business Workshop

The One Stop Business Workshop virtual series, brought to you by CBC, the Canadian Audio-Visual Certification Office (CAVCO), and the Canadian Media Producers Association (CMPA). This series brings together organizations from across the industry to introduce emerging independent producers and content creators from traditionally underrepresented groups in the industry, to topics related to the business and financing of film, TV and original digital content.

The next event will be taking place on December 3, 2024 at 8:30 am – 6:30 pm PT at CBC Vancouver (700 Hamilton Street Vancouver, BC).

This FREE workshop will provide pre-emerging independent producers and content creators from traditionally underrepresented groups in the media industry (Indigenous, Black, people of colour, people with disabilities, 2SLGBTQI+, and women) with practical information about the business and financing side of content creation.
