When East Meets West (WEMW) – Co-production forum

WEMW 2024 will take place on January 21-24, 2024 in Trieste (Italy) and will select 20 projects in development (live-action features, creative documentaries and – for the very first time – short animated projects) from all over Europe and beyond, in particular for the second consecutive year from the 2024 East & West spotlight countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine & Spain, Portugal, Latin America.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

– Producers from Europe*, Latin America**, Canada, USA are eligible to apply
– Projects can be live-action features, creative documentaries, short animated projects in development/financing stage with preferably 10% of the total production budget already in place
– Projects must have international co-production potential
