Telefilm Canada would like to inform its clients of the opening dates and important changes to the International Promotion Program for fiscal year 2023-2024.

Key dates:
Opening date: April 17, 2023
Closing date: February 23, 2024, subject to availability of funds

Important changes:
1) The maximum funding for feature film and TV projets selected at Category 2 festivals has been increased to $15,000
2) The list of eligible festivals has been updated

The International Promotion Program is aimed at encouraging the international promotion of Canadian audiovisual works through participation in international festivals and events. This Program is open to Canadian companies specializing in the production, distribution, and sales of Canadian short and feature-length films (drama or documentary) or coproductions officially selected at an international festival recognized by the program.
