Cross Continental Forum
Deadline: March 31, 2025
The Cross Continental Forum (CCF), hosted in the vibrant beautiful setting of Barbados, serves as a strategic gateway for global film and TV co-production. This five-day event uniquely positions producers to access markets in the UK, Canada, Europe, Africa and the Caribbean, creating a powerful cross-continental network that bridges the Global South.
Under the theme “DECOLONISING CO-PRODUCTION”, our inaugural 2024 event demonstrated the forum’s capacity to unite diverse voices, featuring international talents such as CCH Pounder and Paul Garnes, while establishing crucial links between African, Caribbean and Diasporic storytelling traditions.
Documentary, Feature Film and Television series producers from the UK, Canada, the Caribbean and South Africa who are of Black or Global Majority descent and have successfully produced at least one full length project domestically and are ready to make the leap into international co-production. They must have full or partial ownership stake in a functional production company that is at least 51% Black owned and a project in pre-development or development stages that has international potential.
Besides a complete application form, applicants may submit an updated resume, a pitch deck or any supporting material describing their project and a script draft or outline.
