Canadian Creative Accelerator – Unscripted TV

The Canadian Creative Accelerator (CCA) is organized by the Trade Commissioner Service (TCS) at the Consulate General of Canada in Los Angeles and New York City. 

The 2024 program will kick off in November 2024 with curated workshops, in person meetings, and 1:1 mentorship across 3 months. The program will include two in-person weeks in Los Angeles and one in person week in New York City. 

This year’s program will focus on production companies with unscripted television programs that have been greenlit or have received pre-development funding. Applicants should be established Canadian production companies with a varied slate of projects in the scripted format. A current project will be the main reference for selection. A jury of LA and NYC based industry professionals will select 5 companies whose lead project has the most likelihood for success in the US market.

The lead project needs to be an unscripted television series.
