Tom Cox is Managing Director of SEVEN24 Films. His producing credits include award winning feature films, dramatic series, mini-series and television movies.

Current productions include Family Law, a dramatic series for Corus, Fortunate Son, a political thriller series for the CBC and NBCU International, Jann, a half hour comedy for CTV, Wynonna Earp, the People’s Choice Award winning series for Syfy and Space and Heartland, the beloved CBC family drama.

Previous series include Damnation, Young Drunk Punk, Wild Roses, Tom Stone and North of Sixty. Television, movies and mini-series include Borealis, Burn Up, Mayorthorpe, Waking Up Wally, Chasing Freedom and After the Harvest. International feature film co-productions include Brokeback Mountain, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford and Resurrecting the Champ.

Tom is a board member and past chair of the Canadian Media Producers Association. He is a board member of the Banff International Media Festival Foundation, and past board member and chair of the Alberta Media Production Industry Association and the National Screen Institute. He has served as a member of the Alberta Premier’s Council on Culture and the Alberta Film Advisory Council. He is a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal in recognition of his contribution to the arts.
