Film & TV Producer

Mari Jo Winkler is a NY based Film & Television Producer. She recently Executive Produced Season 1 of Y: THE LAST MAN currently streaming on FX on Hulu. She is a former board member of the Producer’s Guild of America and Co-Founder of PGA Green and the Green Production Guide and has recently joined the DGA Eco-Committee as a Co-Chair. She participated in Al Gore’s Climate Reality Training in 2008 which inspired her to take an active role in the industry to promote sustainability in an effort to reduce our industry’s carbon footprint. A film she executive produced in 2008 called AWAY WE GO directed by Sam Mendes was the first US film to have a carbon calculation.

In addition to Y: THE LAST MAN she Executive Produced the recently released film STILLWATER directed by Tom McCarthy, THE GOLDFINCH, ONLY LIVING BOY IN NY, Season 1 of the HBO Series VINYL, PREMIUM RUSH and the list goes on.

In 2017, she received the City & State of New York CSR award for Sustainability & Environmental Impact and she is the recipient of the 2019 Charles Fitzsimons Award for her service to the Producer’s Guild of America.
