DIANA POKORNY (Executive Producer) most recently served as an executive producer on the upcoming Christmas Musica, “Spirited” with Will Ferrell, Ryan Reynolds and Octavia Spencer. Prior to that she worked on Ron Howard’s movie, “Hillbilly Elegy” starring Glen Close and Amy Adams . She executive produced the live-action film adaptation of Jack London’s classic 1903 novel, “Call of the Wild” starring Harrison Ford. Diana has been working as an Executive Producer on a number of theatrically released feature films: from Alexander Payne’s “Downsizing” to Garry Marshall’s ensemble romantic comedies, “New Years Eve” and “Valentine’s Day”. Diana’s credits range from comedy favorites, “Daddy’s Home” and “ Horrible Bosses 1 & 2” to the tear-jerking drama “My Sister’s Keeper,” based on the best-selling novel by Jodi Picoult, directed by Nick Cassavetes, and starring Cameron Diaz. Diana also produced Iain Softley’s fantasy adventure “Inkheart,” starring Brendan Fraser, Helen Mirren and Jim Broadbent.
In 2009 on “ Valentine’s Day” Diana started pursuing substantabilty practices on the film. Working with Warner Brothers, the other film makers and many department heads Diana helped push through sustaintabilty practices on both a corporate level and on the film set. Since then Diana has worked on every film to build on the previous films enviromental accomplishments whenever possible. In the past 13 years Diana has made film set sustainability a prior in her producing.
