TORONTO, November 28, 2025 – The Canadian Media Producers Association today revealed details of its eighth annual Canada-UK Co-Production Forum, taking place on December 1, in London, ahead of Content London.
This year’s Forum, which serves as a platform to connect Canadian and UK production companies, is expected to attract more than 130 participants from both countries. The day’s activities will include content sessions, roundtable discussions, and one-on-one meetings designed to expand professional networks and explore new co-production opportunities.
“Canada and the UK have a proud history of collaborative storytelling on screen, and as producers in both countries face an unpredictable media landscape, this steadfast partnership is more important than ever,” said Reynolds Mastin, President and CEO, CMPA. “This year’s event will no doubt lead to strengthened cultural ties and new economic activity, and most importantly to the production of engaging new content for audiences around the world.”
The Canada-UK Co-Production Forum is organized in partnership with the CMPA and Producers Alliance for Cinema and Television (Pact), with support from the High Commission of Canada in the United Kingdom.
With more than 200 Canadians expected to attend the Content London conference, the CMPA, alongside national and provincial partners, will also facilitate networking opportunities for Canadian producers with potential partners from Australia and Ireland. Presenting partners for all activities include the Government of Canada, Creative BC, Ontario Creates, and PictureNL; contributing partners include the Canada Media Fund and Telefilm Canada; and supporting partners include Manitoba Film & Music, SODEC, and Screen Nova Scotia.
