CMPA members elect New Board of Directors

BANFF, June 7, 2015—The Canadian Media Production Association (CMPA) is pleased to announce the results of its recent Board elections. The incoming Board of Directors will serve a two-year term. Jamie Brown (Frantic Films) was also re-elected as Board Chair.

“The Nominating Committee wishes to extend their sincere thanks to everyone who was willing to stand for election to the CMPA Board of Directors” says David MacLeod, Chair CMPA Nominating Committee. “We hugely appreciate their commitment of time and energy on behalf of all CMPA members”.

“It’s an honour to have been elected to the Board and as Chair. But it is the collective efforts of the team at the CMPA, the Board and the committee members who truly deliver the value the CMPA provides. We have a challenging year ahead but producers are nothing if not resilient and resourceful, so I look forward to finding new opportunities and better ways to bring our creative ideas to the world.”
