Order COVID-19 safety signs

In the face of increasing COVID-19 numbers, we continue to see provincial governments implementing new health and safety guidelines and restrictions across Canada. Film and television productions have, for the most part, been permitted to continue amid these restrictions; a result of the industry’s adherence to strong health and safety practices. These practices, however, are not necessarily top of mind for the general public, who may come across location shoots in their local communities.

To help increase public awareness about the strict health and safety measures in place on productions across Canada, the CMPA is offering COVID-19 safety signs free of charge for any members who are in production or pre-production. The sign, which can be viewed below, details the robust COVID-19 health and safety measures being employed, and requests that members of the public keep their distance to ensure both their safety and the safety of the cast and crew.

The CMPA is offering CMPA members up to three signs per production, free of charge. The signs measure 20” by 30”, are printed on weather-resistant coroplast, and include grommets for easy installation. Members have the option of including contact information for their production’s COVID compliance officer on the sign, for members of the public who may have concerns. This information can also be left off.

Printing and delivery will be managed by The Printing House, and carried out by their local offices across the country. Once you have submitted your request form, please allow for 2-3 business days for the signs to be delivered.
