Target participants
Established producers who have experience with international co-productions and/or with producing a scripted series domestically. Emerging producers with producer credits on web series are also welcome to apply.
Eligibility criteria
- Must be CMPA members in good standing
Note: Producers who submitted an application to Telefilm Canada to the Canada – France Series Lab are eligible to apply.
Selection process
A Selection Committee will choose up to 15 producers to benefit from financial assistance of up to $1,600 per person The CMPA will open up virtual preparatory sessions and networking opportunities on site to interested members on a first come first served basis.
Format
Preparatory sessions will be offered virtually.

CMPA Delegation to Series Mania
Up to 15 producers will be invited to join the CMPA delegation travelling to Series Mania Forum 2023 from March 21-23, not inclusive of travel days. The purpose of this initiative is to create co-production, financing and sales opportunities for CMPA members.
Financial assistance of up to $1,600 CDN or 50% of real costs (whichever amount is less) will be available to help offset a portion of travel, accommodation and conference registration expenses.
