Crossing Borders: Canada–US Co-Venture Forum
The CMPA and CMPA-BC are pleased to offer CMPA members opportunities through its Crossing Borders: Canada–US Co-Venture Forum to build relationships with US-based independent producers with the ultimate goal of engaging in a co-venture.
The initiative will take place in Los Angeles from November 1-3, 2022 and will faciliate connections with experienced US producers. The programming will feature virtual preparatory sessions leading up to the Forum, curated business-to-business meetings, panels and masterclasses and networking opportunities.
Selected CMPA members will have an initial consultation with Film Associates International to help determine the most appropriate business contacts. Established producers will be guaranteed 2-4 carefully curated meetings. Both established and emerging producers will have access to in-person masterclasses/panels as well as group meetings.
Please note that selected producers will be responsible for covering their own travel and accommodation costs.
