This Friday, April 17 at 12:00 pm ET, the CMPA will host the second in its series of COVID-19 webinars. This week we will again look at the federal government’s COVID-19 economic response package, including recent updates such as changes to the Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy (CEWS) program, which were passed by parliament over the weekend.

We are pleased to welcome PwC Canada’s Tracey Jennings again this week, who will be joined by Matthew Dewar, a Partner at the employment law firm, Duntrune LLP. The pair will focus on the implications of recent updates to support programs for production companies – from large corporations to sole proprietors. A significant portion of this week’s webinar will be dedicated to taking questions from participants, live during the webinar. Those wishing to do so, can also submit a question in advance to the CMPA’s Jakub Jasinski.
