On Friday, May 29 at 1:00 pm ET, the CMPA hosted a webinar for small production companies and sole proprietors to answer questions and help business owners navigate the many issues that have emerged as a result of COVID-19.

The current crisis has created new and unprecedented challenges, which can be very difficult to manage without in-house financial, legal or business affairs departments. This webinar was an opportunity for participants to ask questions and seek advice on everything from navigating government support programs, to addressing financing challenges, to managing operations during the downturn.

The CMPA’s Andrew Addison and Coral Aiken of Aiken Heart Films co-moderated the discussion with a panel of experts with deep production finance, business affairs, and operational management experience.
