Greening the Screen: Producer Sustainability Workshops

The Zero Emissions Innovation Centre in partnership with Producing for the Planet are accepting registrations for their new sustainability workshop series built just for content producers working in scripted, factual and animation genres. The “Greening the Screen: Producer Essentials Workshops” will empower producers with the tools and knowledge they need to integrate sustainability into their existing planning and production processes by addressing the critical soft-prep and pre-production phases where the foundation for sustainability is laid. 

Registration and attendance is free!

Workshops will be a full day (approx 6 hours), held in-person and limited to ten participants per workshop. Lunch will be provided.

Factual / Doc – Feature – Thursday, April 10, 2025

Animation – Series/Features – Friday, April 11, 2025

Scripted – Series – Monday, April 14, 2025

Scripted – Feature – Tuesday, April 15, 2025

Particiants can apply to register for up to two genre-based workshops.

Participants must have a minimum of one produced project in the last two years in their chosen genres.  Participants will be asked to bring a budget, script and schedule from a project of their choice to the workshop to use as a case study.
