The CBC, in collaboration with the CMPA, are offering workshops on how to weave sustainability into your stories! Each session will be 1 hour long. The first 30 mins features a presentation by the Good Energy facilitators, the second half will be breakout rooms and discussions.

In the one-hour workshops, they will demonstrate how easy it is to bring a Climate Lens™ to any story and will:

– Investigate ways to incorporate climate change portrayals, including how climate might impact characters’ emotions and actions
– Review case studies of how climate is showing up in TV and film today, from glimpses of climate impacts and solutions in setting, to brief mentions in dialogue, to climate-driven plots
– Practice applying the Climate Lens™ through writing prompts and a mock writers’ room

Please note each workshop is capped at 20 participants, so registrations will be confirmed on a first come, first served basis.
