CBC B&R would like to invite CMPA members to attend upcoming “Connecting with Communities” sessions across the country, with the first in our nation’s capital. The focus will be Working With Indies: A round table conversation between new and emerging independent producers and the CBC staff who work with them.

Sections include: “Who’s Who?” a round-the-table introduction of the people in attendance, starting with local and visiting CBC staffers, “What is CBC up to?” an overview of CBC’s programming genres and the many exciting platforms CBC now uses to bring Canadian content to audiences, “What happens if my show is picked up by CBC” an overview of CBC’s development and production processes and cycle, and much more.
