Claire Lucht (on leave)
Chief of Staff
Claire manages the executive office at the CMPA. She facilitates our CEO’s vision, enabling him to spend more time on the organization’s strategic issues—and make strategic decisions faster—while helping the senior team work together more effectively.
For the board, staff and external stakeholders, Claire is the principal point of contact to schedule time with the CEO, as well as for any matters affecting the executive office. She organizes board activities, including meetings, retreats, events, and the CMPA year-end party.
Prior to joining the CMPA, Claire worked at Opera Atelier, a boutique opera and ballet production company in Toronto, where her responsibilities included marketing, communications, and providing support to the artistic directors and the School of Atelier Ballet.
Claire received an honours BA in classical studies and English language and literature from Queen’s University, and has also dabbled in a variety of subjects—from marketing to philosophy to theoretical mathematics—at the University of Toronto and George Brown College.
Claire’s favourite Canadian TV show is Killjoys, because cowboy space operas are a fantastic escape from our slightly more boring reality.
