Lead, Human Resources
Chris is responsible for overseeing employee relations and leading HR strategy, programs and initiatives at the CMPA.
Prior to joining the CMPA, Chris was the Director of Human Resources at TO Live where she provided full service HR support to all levels of management and staff at TO Live’s three performing arts venues. Chris started her professional career with ACTRA where she worked for over 20 years holding several labour relations positions including senior roles with the ACTRA Performers’ Rights Society.
A graduate of York University in Creative Film, Chris has a post-graduate certificate in Human Resources Management from Humber College, and holds the CHRL designation. Chris also is a certified Workplace Fairness Analyst, and has specialized trained in mediation for the workplace.
Chris is a passionate and enthusiastic advocate of workplace fairness and the fostering of employee well-being in all areas of people and culture such as respect, diversity, equity, accessibility and inclusion.
