The IP Market Day is a business development and networking event featuring Ontario’s book, magazine, film, TV and interactive digital media sectors. This new event presents an opportunity to learn about critically acclaimed and award-winning book, magazine, and videogame content available for option. Hear an Onstage Pitch featuring Ontario’s best content, and participate in curated 1:1 meetings.

The Onstage Pitch is open to all attendees, and you can select your preferred slot for curated B2B meetings in the application form. Content buyers will be booked for up to 6 curated meetings in your preferred meeting time. Individual meeting schedules will be provided prior to the date of the event.

There will be a networking reception after the event to allow for additional informal relationship building between IP Market Day participants.

The deadline for applications is Thursday, August 3, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. Selected participants will be notified during the week of August 14, 2023.

Please be advised that spots for IP Market Day are very limited. Ontario Creates will be considering applicants’ track record in licensing adaption rights, as well as compatibility between participating companies.
