Knowledge Network request for proposals from IBPOC documentary producers

Knowledge Network has announced a request for development proposals from British Columbia’s Indigenous, Black, and People of Colour (IBPOC) documentary producers. Knowledge Network is looking for development proposals on arts, culture, history and social issues documentaries. Format can be feature length, one-hour or half-hour one offs. They will provide development funding for 2 documentary projects with the goal of moving these projects into production the following year. The funding will be in the form of a development fee as well as funding from Knowledge Network’s CMF Development Envelope.
Eligibility Criteria for the Applicant:
Must be a for-profit incorporated production company;
Must be based in British Columbia;
Must meet the definition of a Diverse Community Project indicated in the Canada Media Fund guidelines.
