As a result of Corus Entertainment’s acquisition of Historia, Séries+ and TELETOON, and in accordance with the CRTC’s Tangible Benefits Policy, the CMF and Corus Entertainment have developed the “Page to Pitch” Program. This program is devoted to funding creative and business activities during the development of television projects with a financial commitment from an eligible Canadian Broadcaster in a CMF-supported genre. The Program focusses on two distinct stages during the development period of a television project’s lifecycle: story and script development and acquiring pre-sale financing from foreign broadcasters and distributors. The deadline to apply is October 10, 2019.
