Phillip Djwa has been working for 16+ years as an entrepreneur in the high-technology industry, working on a wide range of online projects. He is also an award-winning composer for theatre, dance, and film. Phillip’s credentials as a strategist offer a unique blend of technologist and social scientist. Since 2000, when as CTO he assisted in the sale of Adcritic.com to New York’s Ad Age, Phillip has led strategy and innovative web projects at his new company Agentic Communications, one of the top 100 fastest growing companies in Vancouver with its focus on social change online. His clients include the 2010 games, the Genocide Intervention Network, Ecotrust, Mountain Equipment Coop, Coastal Jazz, Granville Island and many others.
Phillip is currently one of the executives behind the Melting Silos initiative, which is a NFB and Telefilm funded project to match new media companies and filmmakers in an innovative and supportive development process.
