The British Columbia & Yukon Council of Film Unions (BC & Yukon Council of Film Unions) Master Agreement between the member unions and negotiating producers establishes the terms, conditions and rates for labour technicians from IATSE 891 (technical crew including, but not limited to, the departments of: grip, props, construction, transportation, set decorating, hair, make-up and wardrobe), IATSE 669 (camera and publicity crew) and Teamsters 155 (including but not limited to, transportation and catering). The BC Council of Film Unions came into existence by order of the BC Labour Relations Board on June 6th, 1996. The founding Members of the Council are IATSE Local 891, IATSE Local 669 and Teamsters Union Local No. 155. The BC & Yukon Council of Film Unions Master Agreement is jointly negotiated by the CMPA and the Canadian Affiliates of the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP).
The 2015-2018 BCCFU Master Agreement was ratified on September 10, 2015. The term of the agreement is from April 1, 2015 to March 31, 2018. New wages rates came into effect on August 2, 2015.
