CMPA Board Elections 2017-2019

Deadline for Nominations: July 21, 2017 @ 8 pm Eastern time

The CMPA is commencing the process of electing a new Board of Directors. All directors elected to the Board will serve for a two-year term from September 2017 until September 2019.

We strive for a Board comprising talented and dedicated directors with a mix of expertise, experience, skills and backgrounds.  Further, we are an inclusive organization that is committed to achieving gender balance and greater diversity, including on our Board of Directors.

We expect that several incumbent Board members will not run again, and we would especially encourage Members who have never been on the Board to consider putting their names forward in the upcoming elections.
Nominees wishing to stand for election must:

  1. Ensure that their company is a CMPA member in good standing
  2. Complete the CMPA 2017-2019 BOARD OF DIRECTORS NOMINATION FORM  (Self- and candidate company nominations are not premitted.)
  3. Complete the CMPA DIRECTOR’S DECLARATION with its SCHEDULE “A” DECLARATION OF CORPORATE AND OTHER INTERESTS FOR POTENTIAL CMPA DIRECTORSPlease note that when two or more affiliated or associated entities are members of the CMPA, only one delegate from such a group of members may serve as a director at any one time.
  4. Submit a maximum 250-word biography as an electronic text file (and, if desired, attach a photo in a jpeg or gif format)
  5. Submit a maximum 500-word statement of candidacy that describes their reason(s) for running for the Board

All documents above must be submitted by Friday, July 21, 2017 at 8pm Eastern time to susanne.vaas@cmpa.ca. If we do not hear from you by that date, we will assume you do not wish to put forward any nominations to the CMPA Board of Directors.
